I purchased this rack recently and overall, it’s a great value for the price — durable, well-made, and it performs as expected when racking the balls. However, it suffers from the same issue I’ve encountered with almost every other rack on the market: it’s incredibly difficult to grip and lift off the table cleanly. Once the balls are tightly racked, getting your fingers under the rack to remove it feels like a struggle, requiring an awkward, almost painful grip. It’s especially frustrating when you’re trying to maintain a tight rack and avoid disturbing the balls, but the rack design doesn’t help you do that easily. This could be easily resolved with the addition of a few raised ribs or textured grip surfaces along the sides of the rack. Not only would that make it more user-friendly, but it would also set this rack apart from so many others that overlook such a simple ergonomic fix. A small change like that could transform this product from a good budget option into a standout accessory that players genuinely prefer to use. If that adjustment is made, I believe this rack would become a go-to for both home players and serious pool enthusiasts alike.

As the title suggests, I didn’t purchase this product for billiards — instead, I bought it for use with my scuba diving gear, specifically my dry suit. While I’m confident it would work great for its intended purpose on the pool table, it’s also incredibly effective for keeping the silicone seals on my dry suit powdered and in good condition. These seals need to be powdered regularly to prevent them from sticking to themselves and to make the suit easier to put on. To adapt it for my needs, I pushed the powder down toward one corner of the bag and added a paracord handle, which gives me better control when applying the powder to the seals. The bag releases a nice, even amount of powder with very little effort, and the amount of powder it comes with seems generous — I wouldn’t be surprised if it lasts me for years. For a non-traditional use like mine, it’s been an excellent solution. I also paired it with a simple dry bag from Walmart to protect it from humidity and to keep it dry when stored with the rest of my scuba equipment. Overall, I’m really happy with how versatile and effective this product turned out to be.
